At least four people were killed and another injured due to bomb explosion, when they were allegedly making bombs at Patana village in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district today.
The victims were identified as anti-Posco activists. The anti-Posco agitators alleged that the bombs were thrown at them by the supporters of steel project.
In 2005, South Korean Steel giant Posco signed an agreement with the Odisha government, but the project has been delayed because of protests over land acquisition.
